  1. Up in the dark sky
  2. I saw this light
  3. so very bright it was
  4. like heaven peeking through
  5. and down that gold path
  6. my angel descended
  7. down like she went up
  8. and in this dark hour
  9. the height of midnight
  10. reaching down for me
  11. her hand so delicate
  12. which once slipped away
  13. gripped mine so tight
  14. and together we ascended.
